My name is Hamdullah Arbab, a self-taught, Ottawa-based artist with nearly two decades of experience in painting. I’m a proud member of the Society of Canadian Artists, Arteast Ottawa, and the Ottawa Plein Air Painters (OPAP)—connections that keep me inspired and rooted in a strong creative community.

 

Specializing in portraiture, I focus on capturing the spirit of cultural figures, writers, and human rights advocates. My work is deeply narrative, blending Oil Portraits, Watercolours, Canadian Landscapes, and Pencil to create pieces that are rich in emotion and meaning.
